Post "Post Season Predictions"
New England Guy's baseball predictions just went off the scroll, so, without comment, I'm reposting them here:
"Red Sox over Angels in 4- T.O.D. defeats what is one of many boring west coast expansion teams present this post season.
"Yankees over Indians in 5- Much as I hate them, they just won't die
"Cubs over D'backs in 3- No team from Arizona has any place in the post season
"Phillies over Padres [sic] in 3 - See above
"Red Sox over Yankees in 7 - Angst, angst, angst
"Cubs over Phillies in 7- Riots are possible.
"Red Sox over Cubs in 7-Pigs fly. Ratings Bonanza- Even if it finishes the other way, it will make both of the two most obnoxious fan bases in the free world become even more totally unbearable."

I think it's time for an update, or an apology.
Apologize for what.
Well The red sox won their series over the Disneyland team which I picked and was really the only one that mattered. The Yankees completely disgraced themselves -I'm more than happy to have been wrong there. A-Rod at Fenway next year and Torre managing the Buccos- one can hope.
The two teams that play after bedtime beat the hapless Cubs and Phils (never ever bet on these teams, they have losing in the DNA). I note that I did correctly pick the number of games of each series (3) which was a harder to do (1/3 chance twice ) than picking the winner of the series which is a 50-50.
Updated predictions:
Red Sox over Indians in 6
The purple team over the teal team in 7
Red Sox win the series in 7
I think you just doomed the Red Sox.
