World Series Perdition

It should be clear to any one who has read my predictions that they are aspirational rather than rational- i.e. who I hope wins.

That being said, I was fairly accurate in the second round- So I will stick with my prediction of Sox over Rox on Fox in Six.

(Actually, I think it will go 7 games but I had the thing with the x's going)

Rockies are scalding hot, I'm afraid it will be Rockies in 5. But then, look at my name. However, I'm willing to concede the Patriots will beat the Colts in Baltimore.

P.S. Going to game 4!

Hey, DG, after last night's pasting, it's a good thing you're not going to game 5!

Looked kind of like a typical interleague game this year, eh? No shame in getting beaten by Beckett, though. The test is what they can do against Schilling.

More like a spring training minor league game. Three! walks with the bases loaded- I haven't seen baseball like that without a chain link backstop being part of the field.

The Sox have to avoid the overconfidence they had after a dominating game 1 of the ALCS and Senor Blohard doesn't throw as fast as Beckett or as he used to. I think the butterflies are gone for the Rox so Game 2 should be more competitive --though if the Schill rolls over them tonight, this series will be a sweep.

Yup - I'm glad I got Game 4 tickets.

But tonight is a real toss up. Jimenez can throw 100mph. until a month ago, the question was where was he going to throw it. He is a Rookie, so who knows how he'll react to WS pressure. But if he wins, the Red Sox have a problem, Fogg (dragon slayer) and Cook are veterans and very good in Coors Field. Then we are back to Francis, who hasn't had two bad games in a row, I think.
