Dem Debate

Previously, I've characterized the Democrat's debate on Iraq as sounding something like this:

Obama: I accuse you of once saying something rational.

Clinton: No I didn't!

Now they seem to be making the same argument over economics. Obama's people sent out a mailer claiming she stated NAFTA was a boon to the economy. Hillary is going red-faced denying such a scurrilous charge.

The funny thing is Edwards was worse.

Farrakhan (no relation to Chaka or Wrath Of) is now backing Obama. I wonder if Hillary will try to use that. Actually, I'm more worried if Farrakhan's support would be helpful in the Democratic primaries.

The usual suspects are jumping on the bus and trying to associate themselves with the winning team (see Ted Kennedy endorsement) The interesting thing will be whether Obama gets overwhelmed with all the same old same-olds rushing to join him after he made his campaign and the strength of his campaign is based on repudiating them.
