Font Of Wisdom
From Virginia Postrel's site, here a tricky quiz on fonts. The first time I took it I got 18 out of 34. The second time (knowing no more, but really taking my time), I shocked myself by getting 25.

19/34. I have no clue why I did so well, as I almost exclusively use Arial or Times New Roman.
16/34 and they asked me to join the Hall of Fame -which I did only to find that I scored well below average (24). Random guessing should get you an 8 or 9.
I'll admit a fascination not with typefaces but with font names- where do they come from? During my prior life at a non-profit, we had to submit our grant applications in one particular oddly-named font for some obscure reason but as a result I now say "Put it in Hobo" to mean anything that is finished after a series of revisions.

My suggestion, take it more than once. You'll see how random the scoring is if you're not an expert, plus you'll start to recognize a few fonts and do better.
