Shut Up, He Explained

Whether or not you like the ads that tie Barack Obama to William Ayers, Obama's response is pretty revolting. Threatening those putting out the ad with criminal prosecution (on an argument so weak I'm not sure I'd even call it flimsy) is ridiculous. I hope this isn't a preview of the way he runs things if he wins the election.

I read it twice and didn't see anything about criminal prosecution, just claims of violation of federal election law (which may or may not be criminal). Did you get the criminal part from another article, LAGuy?

They threatened to bring down the Department Of Justice on people (and apparently this succeeded is stopping some from running the ad). DOJ mean criminal prosecution. If they just wanted to get them on a campaign violation (which is creepy and anti-free speech enough) they would have filed papers with the FEC.
