No Third Act Either

I watched No Country For Old Men, last year's Best Picture Oscar winner, for the first time since I saw it in a theatre. It's beautifully shot and edited, but I still can't get around the missing climax. Even knowing it's coming up (or not coming up), it disappoints. Also, Tommy Lee Jones' character still doesn't have much purpose.

I realize the movie closely follows Cormac McCarthy's novel. In fact, that's the problem.
