Vote Early

Pre-election day voting is a growing trend, and one I oppose. It's too late to get the genie back in the bottle, but this isn't how it should work.

I like the idea of election DAY. A short period when we all get together and decide who will run the country. A time when we've all seen and heard the same things and know NOW is when we make our decision.

I know a lot of people make up their minds long before the election, but still, the campaign changes (as does the public) along the way and I like us all being in the same place when we decide. Otherwise, it's more like a series of elections that are tallied together. As long as it doesn't matter when you vote, why not just let everyone vote any time along the way? That would mean Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani still have a shot.
