Natasha Richardson's death from a simple skiing accident was a shock. And in one of those freaky coincidences, I changed the channel after I heard the news, and what was on, but The Handmaid's Tale.

Superb actress. Truly sad and a tragedy with some potentially big ramifications for ski resorts
- Greater use if not requirement of helmet usage on the slopes.
- Insistence that any fall involving striking the head result in a hospital visit/ EMT evaluation.
What happened may have been a low-chance freak accident but the risks we protect against tend to be the ones we can envision.
