There are other projects in the offing, including the possibility of a musical. He's writing something for Oprah, and working on developing a prequel to "Huckleberry Finn."
A Huck Finn prequel? I could swear Mark Twain already took care of that.

"Finn" by Jon Clinch tackles the sordid history of Pap Finn- Why was he so mean, where did Huck come from, who was his ma and what was the story of the floating house with the dead man and all the words on the wall? The book answers these question but not in such a way that I remember what they are now -not a bad bad book just that the mystery is better than the answers
I can't imagine anything less interesting than finding out why Pap was the way he was.
