The Hapster

Happy brithday, Frank De Vol. He was an arranger, composer and actor.

He was Oscar-nominated for four scores--Pillow Talk, Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte, Cat Ballou, and Guess Who's Coming To Dinner.  He also wrote several popular TV show themes, including Family Affair, The Brady Bunch and My Three Sons.



He appeared on a lot of TV, often playing a sad sack. His best known role was probably as bandleader Happy Kine on Fernwood 2Nite and America 2-Night.
