Rush Hour

I was driving behind a car today (a Honda Fit, if you must know) that had a sticker on the window:  I'm Ready For Hillary.

Really?  Isn't there a big election coming up where, I've been told, she's not running?  What is the rush?  No one is really paying attention right now.  Are they worried about a flanking movement from Joe Biden?

Or had that sticker been up there since 2007?

Being inevitable means you can't take anything for granted.

Being inevitable worked out so well in 2007-08. Yeah, we're ready until a younger hotter candidate comes along. The Boomers need to retire

Hotter or younger? I would think that would include everyone, including husband Bill and Strom Thurmond.

Republicans are the ones manufacturing those bumper stickers. They hope Democrats will give their money to Hillary and not to candidates actually running in 2014.

This slogan didn't work well for other candidates. The League of Women voters wouldn't display I'm Ready for Bill. And nobody would display I'm Ready for Bush.
