What, another Sunstein column?

"Might they be a precursor to something far worse?"

Gosh! He's just so darn reasonable, he must be saying something worth listening to.

Sunstein knew Comey. Did you?

I thought it funny that Cass didn't mention that Cordray was also a student of his (I'm guessing, cause it was the same time period). You may recall that in the 1987 3rd year show, we had a skit about Cass developing a serum that turned everyone into Sunstein clones. Hmmmmm - I'm sure he saw that show!

I don't think you know the Sunstein method, DG. That wouldn't promote his faux credibility. There will be plenty of time to promote the Cordray link later, when it serves the higher purpose.

As if there is any particular problem with doing that.

Can't he find a better outlet than Bloomberg?

The headline, "First he came for the FBI," is a clever way of invoking the argumentum ad Hitlerum without actually saying Hitler's name.

So it's good that in the body of the article he reminds us that it's "important to avoid hysteria". After all, these Hitler comparisons should only be made calmly and rationally.

Wrong with it? No, of course not, in the sense there's nothing wrong with what Maxine Waters does, either, if you exclude revealing yourself to be something undesirable.

But that's merely a freedom issue.

What I'd like to see is, you know, real credibility.

Yes, indeed. (My prior post was responding to A, not LK.)

Denver Guy: Sunstein did not see the 1987 third-year show. He was on sabbatical.

I've always maintained that's how we've remained friends through the years.

As the person who portrayed Sunstein (1.0) in the 1987 show, let me just say 'hehhehhehhehheh'

But if the Hitler comparisons are relevant, where is the problem with calling them out?

Now another former Comey law professor has written about the justification for his firing (but Epstein doesn't footnote the relationship). https://www.vox.com/the-big-idea/2017/5/11/15625990/comey-deserved-fired-no-constitutional-crisis-liberals-hyperventilate
